Delete Your GeoFence Account
Official account and associated personal data deletion portal for the GeoFence Android application, published by GeoFence. This process complies with Google Play Store Data Safety requirements.
⚡ Fastest Option: In-App Self-Service Deletion
You can permanently delete your GeoFence account and all associated live data directly inside the Android mobile app in real time:
- Open the GeoFence app on your Android device.
- Navigate to Settings (gear icon on bottom right) → Account & Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Review the security warning, re-authenticate your credentials if prompted, and confirm by tapping Permanently Delete.
Note for Circle Owners: If you are the owner/creator of a Circle that still has active members, please remove the members, transfer Circle ownership, or delete the Circle before completing your personal account deletion.
Request Deletion Without The App
If you have uninstalled the application, lost access to your device, or cannot log in, you may submit a manual account deletion request directly to our privacy support team:

To request deletion via email, send a message to our dedicated privacy desk:
- Subject:
GeoFence Account Deletion Request - Sender Email: You must send the email from the exact email address registered with your GeoFence account for identity verification.
- Security Notice: Never include your password, credit card number, or identity documents in your email. We only verify the email address match.
- Turnaround Time: Account deletion requests are validated and processed within 48 to 72 business hours, and a confirmation email will be sent upon completion.
Important Google Play Subscription Notice: Deleting your GeoFence account does not automatically cancel any recurring subscriptions through Google Play Billing. Please cancel active Google Play subscriptions in the Google Play Store app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
What Data Deletion Covers
When your account deletion is processed, all personal data associated with your user identifier is permanently and securely purged from our active Supabase database clusters:
📋 Categories of Data Permanently Deleted
- Account & Authentication: User ID, email address, display name, password hash, profile avatar images, notification tokens (FCM), and authentication session records.
- Live & Historical Location: Real-time GPS coordinates, latitude/longitude points, timestamped breadcrumb trails, speed telemetry, heading/bearing, and altitude records.
- Driving Safety & Trips: All recorded driving sessions, route polylines, start/end locations, duration, top speeds, safety scores, harsh braking events, rapid acceleration events, and phone usage while driving logs.
- Places & Geofences: Saved custom places, geofence radius settings, and automated arrival/departure event triggers.
- Circles & Memberships: Your membership in all circles, invite codes you generated, role assignments, safe-arrival check-ins, and emergency SOS alert logs.
What May Remain Temporarily
- Encrypted Backups: Secure database snapshots and backups retain encrypted copies for up to 30 days before being completely overwritten by standard backup rotation schedules.
- Legal & Financial Compliance: Basic transaction logs, audit logs, or fraud prevention records may be retained only to the extent strictly required by applicable tax, accounting, or security compliance laws.
- Other Members’ Shared History: If you participated in driving trips or circles with other members, records generated by other members remain in their respective circles, but your personal identifying details and profile will be detached and removed.
⚠️ Deletion is Permanent and Irreversible
Once your GeoFence account is deleted, your historical locations, drive telemetry, safety scores, and Circle connections cannot be restored. Uninstalling the app or leaving a circle does not delete your account.
